Promotion hopefuls leave it very late to find the net

The Cobblers held on to the third automatic promotion spot after Mitch Pinnock scored five minutes into stoppage time to draw with runaway leaders Forest Green 1-1

Rovers had appeared to be maintaining their nine-point lead at the top after Matt Stevens' 14th league goal of the season but Pinnock pounced in the dying stages.

Sutton left it even later as Richard Bennett scored eight minutes into added time in a 3-3 draw at Stevenage. Stevenage, who are fighting relegation, struck twice in six first-half minutes as Luke Norris' opener was followed by a Jamie Reid header after a well-worked free kick.

Reid scored again in between Alistair Smith's strike and Robert Milsom's 66th-minute spot kick in a three-goal burst in nine secondhalf minutes but Sutton's persistence eventually paid off.

Charlie Jolley notched twice in the opening 16 minutes, taking his tally to four goals in six league games, as Rovers extended their unbeaten run to nine matches.

Swindon jumped above Sutton into fourth on goal difference after a 3-1 win at 10-man Port Vale.

Wales international Jonny Williams gave the Robins a 20th-minute lead before loanee Kian Harratt responded six minutes later with his first EFL goal.
