Propio Language Services Acquires Interpreting Firm Telelanguage.

US-based technology-enabled interpreting and translation service provider Propio Language Services has acquired Portland, US-based enterprise language service provider Telelanguage, specializing in remote interpreting, the company said.

With this acquisition, Propio becomes one of the world's five largest remote interpreting companies by volume.

Founded in 1991, Telelanguage has a history of providing remote interpretation services for over 350 languages. Telelanguage has a meaningful presence in both the West and Southwest United States.

The company has thousands of interpreters based in the United States.

Combined with Propio's technology, suite of language services, and all-in-one platform, Propio One, the business will be able to better serve customers' evolving language needs, Propio said.
