Rainier Partners Acquires Calpine Containers to Accelerate Growth in Packaging Market.

Seattle, US-based private equity firm Rainier Partners, in partnership with management team, has acquired California-based packaging distributor Calpine Containers, Inc., and its subsidiaries to accelerate Calpine's growth while maintaining its focus on quality, reliability and customer service, the company said.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Calpine's employees have retained an ownership interest in the company alongside Rainier.
