The 32-year-old visited a specialist yesterday, but the initial diagnosis means Leutele will miss the rest of the regular season and faces a fight to be fit for the play-offs.

And head coach Ian Watson has urged his side to ensure they go deep into those play-offs so Leutele can play again this season.

The Samoa international is out of contract at the end of the season, and although both parties are keen on him staying, Wigan and Catalan Dragons are also said to be interested and nothing has yet been confirmed.
