The result appears to have consigned the Seals to another season in the National League North, while Brackley continue to gear up for their play-off campaign, as they sit third in the table with just one game remaining.

Reflecting on Saturday's victory, Cowan told his club's website: "A really well-deserved win, an excellent performance all round.

"The only thing we would've probably said about ourselves is first half I think we were a little bit stop-start.

"A great lesson for us, just a little bit of a learning curve, just to make sure that we know that we need to stick to the agenda, do the things that we're speaking about behind closed doors.
