Rotunda Capital Partners Acquires Bakery Ingredients Distributor Siegel Egg Co.

US-based private equity firm Rotunda Capital Partners has acquired a majority stake in bakery ingredients wholesale distributor Siegel Egg Co, the firm said.

Siegel Egg serves New England and New York.

For nearly 100 years, Siegel has acted as a partner to both suppliers and customers in the baking industry.

The company operates out of a 171,000-square-foot facility north of Boston, delivering products from its exclusive and preferred supplier relationships to commercial, in-store, wholesale, and foodservice bakeries throughout the region.

Ken Siegel, CEO, and Amy Siegel Feld will continue with the business to support the growth plan.
