Rudoni out for crucial clash as boss would take a 'scruffy win'

André Breitenreiter revealed in his pre-Millwall press conference that Rudoni had played and trained over Easter with a hamstring problem which has since got worse

He said: "Jack Rudoni, a little bit of a surprise for me.

"We experienced Wednesday that he felt not so good the last 10 or 12 days but he played the last two games nearly over the whole time but now he feels no better so he decided that it is better to take a break so he is not available on Saturday.

"He trained all the sessions and played all the games.

"It's a little injury but he played the last two games. He spoke to the physio but it was ok and he took the decision to play and now it's not possible because he felt worse.

"Jack told me maybe in five or six days he is back. We will see. We wait day by day.

"We have to look for new solutions, good challenges for the coaching staff but we saw it in the training session: We have highly motivated players and a good situation with forwards.

"You can see that all the players want to stand on the pitch on Saturday so there is a lot of competition.

We have some players in good form like Rhys Healey and Bojan Radulovic and it is good to see that we have options to have a very good 11 players on the pitch."

Radulovic scored his first goal for the Terriers and Breitenreiter believes he will now only get better.

Specifically on him, he said: "It was the first step but it was really good to see. He deserved it.

"His performances in the training sessions now with his goal against Stoke, to be honest you can see a totally different player!

"You could see after the goal he was so happy. Maybe now he is free. He scored but also played really well, secured the ball, he was the target player, good in possession and created chances.

"We need players like him but also like Rhys, Delano Burgzorg, Josh Koroma, we have good options.

"We need options until the rest of the season to always bring the best players on the pitch but then with subs the...
