Ruff for rarities

IT was a ruff year for rare pups due to the Covid crisis with a surge in demand but a low number of births.

People are being forced to splash out £10,000 a pup for labradors and French bulldogs.

Only five Dandie Dinmont terriers were registered in 2020 and no Glen of Imaal terriers. Only 5,642 Lab pups and 5,539 French bulldogs were listed.
