Rugs Direct Acquires Lightopia to Expand Product Catalog of Home Furnishing Brands.

Virginia, US-based online rugs retailer Rugs Direct Holdings, LLC has completed the acquisition of California-based omnichannel lighting retailer Lightopia, LLC to establish a portfolio of e-commerce home furnishing brands, the company said.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Lightopia represents brands focussed on contemporary design, quality materials and responsible manufacturing, and helps clients solve architectural and decorative lighting needs utilising the latest LED lighting technology.
