Mr. Das, the defendant in this action, appeals against the judgment against him for £157 recovered by the plaintiff on allegations that that money had been lent by him to the defendant. There is a good deal of evidence of monetary transactions, loans and repayments. It was a pure question of fact for the County Court judge, who went carefully into the matter of the claim and had regard to the evidence given by the defendant as to the repayment of the sums of money to be taken into account, and also to the counterclaim which the defendant advanced.

As I say, this is a pure question of fact, and this Court cannot disturb the decision of the County Court judge. The appeal is dismissed.
