The former X Factor judges were the first two stars to arrive in the house and were immediately set a secret task to judge the other so-called "celebs" as they entered a secret room

Sharon, who is a "lodger" in the ITV house, said: "I'm definitely here for a good time, not a long time."

Pop manager Louis, who is a regular housemate, was sent into help his old pal judge the other stars as they arrived.

The others have no idea they are being watched and three of them will be selected for eviction later this week.

Sharon, 71, is being paid a reported £100,000 a day for what is expected to be a five-day stint.

Louis, who managed Boyzone and Westlife in his heyday, revealed that the reason he signed up for the show is because - at the age of 71 - he's no longer a spring chicken.

He said: "Why not! I'm not getting any younger and I just want to have fun, so when the opportunity for this came up, I thought, let's do it!"

That said, he's not afraid to speak his mind and ruffle a few feathers if he comes up against any loudmouths.

Louis added: "People that are loud and arrogant, I can't stand people like that… anyone loud and in your face, like Trump."

But he realised he could annoy other housemates, saying: "I don't cook - like at all. I can only just...
