Siemens Acquires Zona Technology to Enhance Xcelerator Capabilities in Aviation.

Germany-based automation and digitalisation provider Siemens Digital Industries Software has agreed to acquire Arizona-based Zona Technology, a provider of aeroelastic simulation solutions, to increase Xcelerator capabilities for climate-neutral aviation, the company said.
The transaction is expected to close in the second half of calendar year 2022. Terms are not disclosed.
The addition of the Zona Technology, Inc. technology to Siemens' Xcelerator portfolio will assist customers in making digital threads as comprehensive and as efficient as possible to help speed innovation, ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of more sustainable aerospace invention.
