My repair, I have to say, looked good once sanded down and spray painted, but the smell of the tuna must have been retained as the neighbourhood cats liked to sleep upon my bonnet.

Judy says: "My husband must have gone to the same bodyshop repair school as you. Our first Cortina had a wing comprising more of baked bean tins than the original metal: beautifully filled and painted.
