The 18-year-old right-back has been a shining light for the club's B team this season, winning the academy player of the year award on his way to being called into Ian Baraclough's side for their current round of Nations League games

Spencer came off the bench to play at left-back in a goalless draw in Cyprus on Sunday before getting his first start away to Kosovo on Thursday evening, playing at right-back and setting up Shayne Lavery's goal just before the break in a 3-2 defeat.

Spencer said: "It doesn't really feel real to be honest! The years have just been absolutely flying since I first signed for HUDDERSFIELD .

"Making my senior debut the other night, everything's just been going so quick, and I think I just need to keep level-headed and stay focused throughout them times, and just keep working hard, stay humble, and keep trying to learn."
