Superior Plus Closes Acquisition of Hopkins Propane to Strengthen Midwest Footprint.

A wholly owned subsidiary of Canadian propane distributor Superior Plus Corp. (TSX: SPB) has closed the acquisition of the assets Michigan-based retail propane distribution company Hopkins Propane to strengthen footprint in Upper Midwest, the company said.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Superior also said it has acquired the assets of Mountain Energy Gas, a small distributor based in Waynesville, North Carolina in a separate transaction.
