these two defendants. The circumstances of the two defendants are very
similar. The chronology is not without its complexity. This judgment will
therefore deal principally with the chronology regarding Michael Gerald
McKay. In so far as there are any slight differences with the facts relating to
Mr Dalrymple they are not material to the decision.
