The Worldwide Developers Conference's focus is on the company's software - the operating systems that power the iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV… and now, the Vision Pro headset

As usual, there will be an in-person event on the first day of the conference, with a keynote presentation to outline what developers and users can expect from the next versions of all the operating systems - it'll be the first look we get at iOS 18, the software that will power iPhones when it comes out in the autumn.

This is expected to bring more AI features to the device and to the digital assistant Siri.

There are currently no hardware devices rumoured to be making an appearance at the event, but Apple is expected to announce new iPads and iPads Pro before June, possibly some time towards the end of May.
