Parents will now be able to send invitations to their teenage children to turn on the tools. Once set up, they can set times of the day or week that they'd like to limit their children's time on Instagram

There's also a new system that allows parents to see posts their children have reported, and what kind of reports they have made.

For teenagers themselves, there will now be the ability to set up 'nudges' which will remind users after a period of time scrolling through Reels that it might be time to take a break.

The nudges will also encourage teenagers to look at other types of content if it detects they are repeatedly searching for the same things.
