Universal Robots A/S (UR), a Teradyne Inc (NYSE:TER) company, on Monday named Jürgen von Hollen as president with immediate effect, succeeding the resigning Enrico Krog Iversen.
Most recently, von Hollen was the executive president of the Engineering Solutions Division, which includes the Automation and Controls business of Bilfinger SE in Mannheim, Germany. There he was in charge of a global staff of nearly 10,000 and annual sales of over EUR1.0bn and his career began with Daimler-Benz aerospace and he also served in senior management roles at Daimler-Chrysler Services, Deutsche Telecom and Pentair.
A supplier of automation equipment for test and industrial applications, Teradyne Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) is used to test semiconductors, wireless products, data storage and complex electronic systems.
