Tip Trailer Services to Acquire Ryder's Trailer Leasing and Maintenance Business in UK.

Netherlands-based trailer leasing, rental, maintenance and repair provider Tip Trailer Services has agreed to acquire the trailer leasing and maintenance business of Ryder Ltd (NYSE: R) in the UK, to expand services in Europe, the company said.
Tip Trailer Services is a portfolio company of I Squared Capital through its ISQ Global Infrastructure Fund II.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Tip will integrate the Ryder assets and contracts into its existing business, increasing its fleet with approximately 3,550 additional trailers and expanding its workshops in the UK to eighteen.
The acquisition expands TIPS' footprint in the UK and Ireland, improving service offerings and infrastructure.
