TotalEnergies Acquires Ombrea to Strengthen Position in Agrivoltaics.

France-based global multi-energy company TotalEnergies (PAR: TTE) (LSE: TTE) (NYSE: TTE) has acquired French agrivoltaics leader Ombrea to create a center of expertise for Agricoltaics, the company said.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Ombrea has built ten sites and studied around fifty crop varieties, to develop unique expertise and solutions that optimise the synergies between agricultural production and green electricity generation.
By integrating Ombrea's teams and expertise into its renewable activities, TotalEnergies intends to accelerate its development in agrivoltaics, both in France and abroad.
