Josh Koroma put the Terriers in front shortly before half-time at Deepdale, before Will Keane levelled from the spot eight minutes after the restart

Substitute Milutin Osmajic then netted a quickfire hat-trick in the final 10 minutes to hand the Terriers a setback in their battle against the drop.

The result leaves Town fourth from bottom in the Championship table, on 43 points from 42 matches played, level on points with third from bottom Sheffield Wednesday with just four games remaining. Thomas then forced an error from Woodman from the winger's press as the goalkeeper's clearance found Koroma, but the forward could only send his effort over the bar after driving towards goal.

Robbie Brady fired just over from distance at the other end, before Thomas had a close range effort saved by Woodman soon after, but the flag had already been raised for offside against Koroma earlier in the move.

The Terriers netted the opener three minutes before the interval. Burgzorg was played in towards goal and picked out
