Tributes to 'full of fun' Josh after bus hit death

The 20-year-old, who was born in Calderdale Royal Infirmary, was walking in Burnley Road in Sowerby Bridge and was hit by a bus on June 3

He sustained serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

West Yorkshire Police confirmed a bus driver had been arrested on suspicion of driving over the prescribed limit for drugs.

He has since been released under investigation.

An inquest into Josh's death was opened in Bradford on Friday, June 10, by assistant coroner Angela Brocklehurst.

Since his passing, tributes have rolled in for the Halifax man who was said to be "well known" in the town, his mum said.

Josh's mum Christina Jones, a mum-of-two who lives in Lee Mount, was too upset to speak.

She did say he would be much missed and she is being supported by a police liaison officer at this time.

Another family member, Liam Highley said: "He grew up a happy lad full of life and joy. He would love to joke around and dance.

"He loved his clothes and trainers. The party life he loved and dancing the night away.

"Josh loved having a good old sing-along in the car. When he wasn't partying, he would talk and make plans about what he wanted to do in his life.

"We will all miss his laughs. His cries...
