Two companies make extra buses available to East Midlands Airport as holiday season nears

From Monday to Saturday, buses run every 15 minutes on Skylink Derby, which connects Derby, Leicester and Loughborough with East Midlands Airport and the employment sites around it. There are also extra buses early in the morning and late in the evening each day.

The changes are timed to coincide with the airport's busiest times of the year, but some services are being reduced under the timetable alterations.

There will be fewer journeys that go via Castle Donington Bus Station during peak times under the new timetable and reductions to the number of services going to the DHL depot at the airport.

All single bus fares are currently capped at £2. Buses stop at a number of bus stops on the airport site, with the main station a short walk from both arrivals and departures.
