Royal Mail bosses were last night urged to investigate what security boffins are calling "economic warfare"

Websites based in China are offering sheets of 50 counterfeit stamps, complete with the Royal Mail's new barcode.

The convincing copies are being sold for as little as 4p, yet real 1st Class stamps are £1.35.
