Upland Software Acquires Objectif Lune to Expand Document Workflow Capabilities.

Texas-based Upland Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: UPLD) has announced its acquisition of Canadian document composition and business communication automation provider Objectif Lune Inc., to expand document workflow product capabilities, the company said.

The purchase price paid for Objectif Lune and related entities (including the assets of a United States reseller) was USD 29m in cash at closing (net of cash acquired), paid out of cash on hand, and a USD 5.3m cash holdback payable in 12 months.

With the addition of Objectif Lune, Upland expands its global document workflow product library by adding the capability to modernise complex, paper-based documents for large-volume print production as well as automated delivery across web, email, and mobile platforms.
