US Physical Therapy Acquires South Carolina Physical Therapy Practice.

US-based outpatient physical therapy clinic operator US Physical Therapy, Inc (NYSE: USPH), which also provides industrial injury prevention services, has acquired a three-clinic physical therapy practice in South Carolina, USA, the company said.

USPH acquired 75% of the equity interests of the physical therapy practice with the practice's founder and owner retaining 25%.

The purchase price for the 75% equity interest was approximately USD 3.7m.

The business generates more than USD 2.7m in annual revenue and has approximately 31,000 patient visits per year.

Founded in 1990, US Physical Therapy, Inc. operates 591 outpatient physical therapy clinics in 39 states.
