UTS boss tells squad to focus on promotion chase

McDonald's side are fighting for a play-off place amid the challenge of playing games away from their UTS Stadium home - but they are rising to that challenge with just one defeat in their last ten games

After seeing off Cleethorpes Town in a 'home' game held at Consett's Belle View, Dunston will 'host' Carlton Town at Morpeth Town's Craik Park on Saturday and McDonald knows what he needs his players to do to claim another win.

He said: "There are ten big games left for us.

"We are just focused on what we do, what Dunston can do and if we equip ourselves like we can do I think we will be ok."

Dunston's chances of extending their impressive run of form and boosting their hopes of claiming a play-off place have been aided by the news McDonald has a fully fit and available squad for the game.
