Vue International Bidco Acquires Cinema 3D.

29 May 2019 - UK-based cinema company Vue International has acquired Cinema3D in Poland, expanding its premium out-of-home entertainment offering to 45 sites and 322 screens across Poland and 230 sites and 2006 screens internationally, the company said.

Vue already has a leading position in Poland delivering record attendance in 2018. The acquisition continues Vue's successful growth strategy, adding a further 13 sites and 65 screens to its portfolio.

The 13th site has just opened as the newest site in the portfolio, launching on Thursday 23rd May 2019, in the heart of the newly built and one of the largest shopping centres in Warsaw. The cinema has been opened under Multikino brand and is the first and only cinema in Warsaw fully equipped with all leather recliner chairs providing a premium out-of-home entertainment experience.

This new cinema has a total of 10 screens all equipped with 4K laser projectors and a total of 935 recliner seats. Included in the cinema are also Dolby Atmos surround sound system.
