"We have told Ricky we want to keep him. Ricky says he wants to stay," revealed head coach Watson.

"Now it is up to his management team to get something sorted, either with us or with someone else.

"His injury brings it to the front of the mind. You put off deals and put off deals then an injury happens and it can disrupt things.

"You do get a little bit frustrated, but that is part and parcel of dealing with management teams in different countries. The club will speak to the management, the player will speak to the management, they go back and forward - I am speaking to Ricky and sometimes the management will speak to me over rugby matters.
