We can't see the food for all the trees

But we must all recognise the need to feed ourselves sensibly as well. In a recent interview, Environment Secretary George Eustice said it is the Government's intention to plant 30 million trees in the UK. This in one of the worst places in the world to grow trees with a growing season of three months in the year. This on good farmland capable of feeding the nation. They then intend to import the food from all over the world, including many that have an ideal climate for tree growing.

Just remember when you walk out on to your paved-over garden that has ruined...
