AAK AB (STO:AAK) reported on Tuesday net result of SEK352m, or EPS of SEK1.35, for the first quarter of 2019.
This was an 11% increase over net result of SEK317m, or a 9% increase over EPS of SEK1.24, in Q1 2018.
Total volumes for the quarter amounted to 572,000 MT (Megatonne), up by 4% organically as compared with 551,000 MT in Q1 2018.
According to the company, its Food Ingredients business area was the main driver for its profit growth, with good contributions from all segments.
