Norway-based Aker Carbon Capture has announced that it has been awarded a feasibility study to apply carbon capture for mineral production facilities in the US Midwest.

The integrated planned capture capacity will be around 1.5 million tonnes CO2 per annum, based on the company's Big Catch concept.

The feasibility study is intended to develop a design and cost basis for Big Catch CO2 capture and conditioning facilities.
