Norway-based carbon capture company Aker Carbon Capture (OSE:ACC) said on Friday that it has secured a feasibility study contract to implement carbon capture solutions for mineral production facilities situated in the US Midwest.

The planned combined capture capacity will be approximately 1.5 million tonnes of CO2 annually, based on Aker Carbon Capture's Big Catch concept.

The primary objective of the feasibility study is to develop the design and cost framework for the Big Catch CO2 capture and conditioning facilities.
