All the Edinburgh road closures as royal event set to disrupt city centre traffic

Lothian Buses have not announced any diversions or impacts to bus services. However, traffic in the city centre may be heavier than usual.

The Queen is known to be in Edinburgh for Holyrood Week, which is an annual opportunity for The Queen to visit various regions in Scotland and meet Scots from all walks of life.

According to the Royal website, The Queen's visit includes an Investiture held in the Great Gallery at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, which recognises Scottish residents who have made a significant contribution to their society.

Her visit will also include a garden party, where The Queen welcomes around 8,000 people from all walks of Scottish life to spend an afternoon with her in the grounds of the Palace.
