All the Edinburgh roads closed for Saturday's Pride and Armed Forces parades

Saturday, June 25, will be a big day for Edinburgh with both the Pride parade as well as the Armed Forces Day parade taking place

As such, a number of different roads will be closed on the weekend as the parades move through the city.

Here is what you need to know.

The Pride parade on Saturday will move through much of the city centre. The Parade route will close roads from 12:30pm until 3pm. Starting from Potterrow before continuing to Bristo Place, Candlemaker Row, Cowgate, St Mary's Street, Canongate and then onto Horse Wynd.

There will be rolling road closures and Police 'stop and holds' at New Street, Canongate, High Street, Lawnmarket, Johnston Terrace, Castle Terrace, Lady Lawson Street, West Port, Grassmarket, King's Stables Road. They will be ongoing between 4:30 and 5:45pm.

As well as Pride, the Armed Forces Day parade on George street will also be taking place in the morning of Saturday. There will be rolling road closures...
