Greenland-focused mining company Amaroq Minerals Ltd (AIM:AMRQ) (TSXV:AMRQ) (NASDAQ Iceland:AMRQ) announced on Wednesday that it has signed two contracts relating to the restart of the Nalunaq gold mine.
Firstly, a contract mining agreement has been signed with Thyssen Schachtbau GmbH, a German mining contractor with over 150 years of experience working in remote locations with challenging logistics and Arctic conditions. The initial two-year contract involves rehabilitating existing infrastructure and commencing initial development and stoping of the high-grade Mountain Block at the Nalunaq site.
