Baldy Holly Band lead the way in family variety charity show at the Tyne Theatre; Monies raised from the afternoon show will help SSFA Tyne and Wear and the Newcastle Eye Clinic at The RVI.

The Baldy Holly Band will once again have the place rockin' and a rollin' this Sunday at the Tyne Theatre and Opera House in Newcastle.

The 1950s music supremos will be using their musical prowess to have the audiences jiving in the aisles as they are set to headline a fabulous array of local and national talent, in what is to be the third annual family variety show.

Featuring a range of acts in the variety show tradition and all monies going to charity, this yeara'as event promises to be bigger and better than ever. It takes place at 1pm on Sunday.

Jamie (Baldy Holly) says: "For any artist to play the Tyne Theatre it is a magical experience. The history, the architecture, the amazing acoustics and not to mention the wild audiences!

"There is a great array of talent on the bill, with something for the whole family. Wea'ave been looking forward to this show all year and will be rockin' from the off.

"The fact all the monies raised will go to two great charities - SSFA Tyne and Wear, who help the men and women of Britains armed Forces and their families, and the Newcastle Eye Clinic at The RVI, makes it all that more special.
