Beijer Alma (STO:BEIAB), an industrial group that focuses on component production and industrial supplies, announced on Friday that its board of directors has proposed a cash dividend of SEK2.50 per share to the Annual General Meeting, as compared with the SEK5.10 per share as previously communicated.

According to the company, the COVID-19 pandemic has not had material negative impact on Beijer Alma's operations, income and earnings in January 2020 and February 2020. However, the development moving forward is very difficult to predict and there is a risk that there will be a deterioration in market conditions, which is why Beijer Alma is taking measures to strengthen its preparedness and increase its flexibility and has decided to change its dividend.
