The Linux Foundation, a US-based non-profit organisation allowing mass innovation through open source, announced that Germany-based BMW Group (Xetra: BMW), has been added to its Yocto Project (yoctoproject.org)
as a member.
BMW Group's membership is claimed to emphasise its commitment to work with, and in, sustainable ecosystems and software and to support open source and key tools it uses to produce its products.
