Body of West Lothian man discovered in flat as neighbour 'hadn't seen him in months'

The body of a 57-year-old man was found inside, with officers now investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.

The neighbour of the man reported seeing as many as six forensic officers removing items and boxes from the flat, and said that he hadn't actually seen him in months.

The neighbour told the Record: "I hadn't seen him for six months and I've not seen the guy who lets the property for around three months.

"The police were there from 6pm and caused a traffic jam and they were there until around 5am the next morning.

"I've got an ex-partner and kids and I'm just sitting here thinking 'is that going to be me one day?'"
