Callous West Lothian thief targets two homes in one night stealing a four figure sum

The first attack was on a home on Elm Grove which involved personal electrical items being nicked as well as the blue Audi sports car which was parked on the drive

The second incident took place hours later at 4:20am in the Tower Bar on Adelaide Street when the thug smashed a window of the boozer before making off with a four figure cash sum.

Both incidents occurred in the same area less than a mile apart and a suspect wearing a black tracksuit was seen at both locations.

Police officers in West Lothian are now appealing for information following the two housebreakings in Livingston that are being treated as linked.

The male suspect is described as of average height and build and was sporting a black Nike tracksuit with a distinctive reflective logo across the chest area of the top.
