Celebrity Gogglebox contestant Maureen Lipman's hilarious reaction to Naked Attraction

The concept -of picking a date out of a selection of naked bodies as several people line up to bare all on TV -was ground-breaking when it first aired, in 2016.

It was also inexplicably outrageous.

Five years later, the novelty has probably worn off for most people.

So it's fun to be reminded of just how strong some peoples responses to this show can be -especially someone on Celebrity Gogglebox, a show built on the hilarious reactions of its contestants.

Cast member Maureen Lipman had us in stitches after Naked Attraction appeared on the show last week.

In an interview following the episode, she told Radio Times "life is too short" to watch men "dangle their bits and pieces" in front of her.

The actor, writer, and regular cast member was so appalled by the concept that she actually staged a walk-out of her living room in protest.

In the unaired scene, Gyles Brandreth was abandoned by the 75-year-old, who shortly returned armed with a supermarket bag for life over her head to hide the view.

Maureen told Radio Times: “They’re not really interested in our opinions on what they’re giving us.

“I’d seen Gogglebox and I thought: ‘Oh, [ours] is the grown-up version, is it I’m going to go on, and make a lot of comment now about the oeuvre and ‘I did like his first trilogy, but then I felt in some ways that perhaps over the years…’

She went on indignantly: "But it’s your reaction to 12 dangling willies they want.
