Channel 4's A Place in the Sun open to new participants and here's how to get on show

So, over at Edinburgh Live, we decided to take the plunge and apply for the show.

Here is all you need to know about the process in applying for A Place in the Sun.
The website reads: "If you're serious about buying a property overseas and have got as far as deciding which country you'd like to buy in, then why not apply to appear on the TV show and make the most of our expert help in making your decision?"
How do I apply?
First, just head over to this website and check out the application process - the producers state heavily that they will "never ask you for your bank details or for you to transfer any money to us", in order to warn off scammers.
The initial stage of the application process is simple enough, this is the information the casting team needs:
* Name age and participant details
* Some information about the type and location of property you are looking for
* Budget
* Photograph of yourself
This information needs to be sent to the email address linked here.
But, this is where it gets a bit more complicated...

The second stage of application
The next stage of the process includes sending a fifteen-page form back to the same email, including information such as:
* Relationship details if in a couple, where you met etc
* Detailed property plans (relocation, investment, countries)
* Specific requirements for property area
* Why you want to appear on the show
* Financing details (budget, wiggle room, where the funds have come from)
* Availability
* Any previous TV appearances
* Disability details if any
* COVID-19 vaccination
* Nationality...
