Coca-Cola confirm they will not ban Coke Zero after online rumours spread

It comes after an online rumour said the popular sugar-free drink would soon be discontinued leaving many fans panicking

According to the Daily Record, online retailer Boohoo said in a Facebook post: "BREAKING - Coke Zero is being discontinued in the UK" followed by a heartbreak emoji.

However this is not the case. And now Coca Cola have responded to rumours that the popular drink will soon be vanishing from our supermarket shelves.

After seeing posts about the news, many people took to social media to complain and after receiving over 20,000 comments from a mix of worried fans and those who couldn't care less about it leaving, boohoo.com took to Twitter to clarify things.

They appealed directly to Coca-Cola asking them to set the record straight stating: "Okay [Coca Cola], we need answers ASAP. Please tell us the rumours about Coke Zero being discontinued aren't true".
