Colts finish in fourth as boss signs up stars

A 2-1 win over Gala Fairydean Rovers ended the season on a high for the Broadwood side, with Keelan Adams bagging the winner before heading to Falkirk in the summer

Proctor hopes for answers from up to six players this week, so he knows where to strengthen for next season.

He said:"We have five players signed for next season and we're in discussions with a lot of the squad to tie boys up and make sure we've got a really good nucleus going into the pre-season training.

"Our captain, Cammy Dickson, Graeme Holmes, Cole McIntyre, Daniel Hatfield and Billy Mortimer are tied up.

"There are offers on the table for four, five or six of the boys and we'll be looking for answers over the next week or so.

"Hopefully then we'll have a better idea of how many we've got to work with and where the recruitment drive is focused on in key positions."

Colts had been second for a large partof the season and on their league finish, Proctor said:"Beating Gala at home solidified that fourth position and that's something, if you had offered it at the start of the season, we'd have bit your hand off for.

"We didn't want to just settle for that top six, we wanted to keep standards high and the boys did that.
