Componenta Oyj (HEL:CTH1V), a company operating in the metal sector, reported on Friday net result of EUR0.7m, or diluted EPS of EUR0.01, for the first half of 2019, from January 2019 to June 2019.

This was a 50.3% decline over net result of EUR1.4m, or diluted EPS of EUR0.01, in H1 2018.

Net sales for the half year decreased to EUR59.1m, down by 10.6% as compared with EUR66.1m in H1 2018.

Order book at the end of the half year was EUR9.6m, down by 40.4% as compared with EUR16.2m at the ed of H1 2018.

Also, Componenta reaffirmed its updated guidance and expects net sales to be EUR90m to EUR110m in 2019. Net sales in 2018 were EUR120.7m.
