Cruise LLC, a United States-based self-driving car company, along with United States-based General Motors (NYSE: GM) and Japan-based Honda Motor Company (NYSE: HMC), has signed a memorandum of understanding to set up a new joint venture (JV).
The new JV is to offer driverless ride-hail service in Japan from early 2026.
