Incoming Germany-based Daimler (NYSE: DAI) CEO, Ola Kallenius, is planning to end the automaker's collaboration with the Renault- Nissan Alliance, according to Germany's Manager Magazin, citing unnamed sources.
Kallenius wants Mercedes-Benz to save USD6bn by 2021, and Daimler's truck division to save an additional USD2bn during the same period of time.
