Dayco, a US-based company that deals with the research, design, manufacture and distribution of essential engine drive systems and aftermarket services, has collaborated with BMW Motorrad, a subsidiary of Germany-based automaker BMW AG (Xetra: BMW), to deliver belt drive technology for BMW's CE 04 e-scooter.
The complete belt drive solution was designed and produced with close engineering support and a strong collaboration with BMW Motorrad.
The partnership between both firms is a move on the path to decreasing CO2 emissions with chain to belt conversion, concentrating on the urban mobility segment.
